In the darkness I crept
while the angel she slept
and innocence slipped away

a demon of light
stole me away in the night
I'm a prisoner now
bound by chains of passion and sin

the angel she crys
from bewildered eyes
as she whispers something about betrayl

and slowly we die both the angel and I
as I choke on the lie that lured me away
my heart rent and torn
my halo tarnished and worn
my feathers all falling away

my good and my bad
I gave him all I had
and damn him the devil he won

he braught us both together
my angel and devil in one
screeming and weeping
simpering and beseaching
for this thing to be undone

but the devil he laughs as I cry
I was warned so I can't ask why
I was suduced with his promiss of love
